Qigong

Qigong is currently available in a private lesson format only.

The practice of qigong improves the circulation of qi through breathing and visualization techniques and ultimately improves wellness through self-cultivation. When we cultivate qi, we are developing our ability to fight or resist disease by strengthening our bodies internally. The practitioner learns self-healing of the body, mind and spirit.

The Boulder Kung Fu Academy offers instruction in various types of qigong, both dynamic and static, depending on the needs and goals of each student.

Qigong is also a part of the regular curriculum at the school as it has been an integral part of martial arts for centuries. Qigong itself dates back thousands of years in China and was the precursor to martial arts.
